New Rimini Conference Centre

The Palacongressi di Rimini, which opened in October 2011, is one of Europe’s most modern conference facilities and one of the largest in Italy. Located in the city centre, the Palas features a modern and prestigious exterior. The entire structure, designed by architect Volkwin Marg from GMP Studio in Hamburg, was built to accommodate major events.
The complex occupies 38,000 square meters and consists of 39 halls that can accommodate 9,000 people in total. The main hall can seat up to 4,700 people, and the large glass shell, where the Amphitheatre Hall is located, can hold 1,540 visitors.

The city of Rimini, Italy’s hospitality capital, is home to this magnificent structure dedicated to the world of business, which combines cutting edge services, impeccable organization, and functional, elegant and original areas. Rimini’s new conference centre is part of an urban green redevelopment project; the large outdoor park featuring bicycle lanes and pedestrian paths connects the Palas to the city centre (600 meters) and Rimini’s seaside promenade (2 km). A two-storey underground car park featuring 500 parking spaces and other car parks outside the facility can be used during conferences, meetings and conventions.

Organization efficiency is guaranteed by the Convention Bureau of the Riviera of Rimini, a company responsible for the conference activities held by the Province of Rimini since 1994. The Consorzio A.I.A. PALAS is the exclusive partner of the Palacongressi di Rimini with regard to hotel accommodation for the meeting industry within the Province of Rimini.
