The Park
Italia in Miniatura was opened in 1970 and is one of the oldest theme parks of Europe. At first, it offered exclusively miniature reproductions of the main squares and monuments of Italy. Over time, the voyage into the discovery of the art and history of the area was expanded with the addition of reproductions of the Grand Canal in Venice, today navigable by boat and is among the most significant sites of Europe. The park offers stimulating, interactive and educative experiences, the most recent generation of computerized thematic games and a high adrenaline level. There are many offers during the holiday season that are thought out for the entire family.
Main Attractions
Today the park offers the classic miniatures alongside a wide variety of attractions. From the possibility to recreate real battles to the sound of water cannons at Cannonacqua; from breathtaking descents aboard canoes along a course full of ups and downs; from the interactive driving school on grass for little motorists that want to learn the very basics of driving cars in miniature, to the thrill of Sling Shot, the giant mechanical slingshot that catapults 2 passengers 55 meters in 1.2 seconds, to the science amusement park (Luna Park) where you can learn the most important laws of physics while playing with engaging interactive machines. There’s even more rides for the littlest ones, water rides for all and many live performances organized by a staff of professionals whether in summer or for Halloween in the fall.
